How do I sign-up for the class?
You simply use the PayPal button to purchase your ticket to the class.
What happens after I purchase a ticket to attend a class?
Once you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email confirmation of your purchase. This email confirmation will include a unique URL and log-in code. At the time of the class, you click on the unique URL and use your log-in code to join the class live.
What if I sign-up for the class but can't attend on the day of the class?
No worries here. Once you purchase a ticket to the class, that ticket also gives you rights to unlimited views of the class. So, if you can't make it on the day of the class, you can watch it any time.
What will happen during the class?
Once you join in, you will see a video window and chat window. GED Teacher, Damon Tinnon, will be visible in the video window teaching at the white board. The chat window will include messages and questions between the group. You may use the window to talk to the teacher or the other students. In addition, the teacher will introduce power point slides as a third window of information.
What if I want to remain anonymous and just listen in?
No problem. About 50% of all attendees choose to remain remain anonymous. If you choose to remain anonymous, you will still be able to see the video of the teacher at the white board, the chat window and the power point slides. In addition, you can send questions in the chat window that will only be visible to the teacher. If you are anonymous, only the teacher can see you and have contact with you.
What is the charge to attend?
$10 for 1-hour classes. $20 for 2-hour classes.
Why is there a charge to attend? My local adult school classes are free.
The Get Your GED Now Test Preparation Series Live GED Classes are not affiliated with any public school and receives no funding from government sources to cover operating cost. Your local adult school is funded by government budgets and possibly receives grants from other non-profit sources.
